Class of 2025 Honor Cords

Seniors who choose to “SERVE, LEAD, SUCCEED” through community service gain memorable experiences, build character and contribute to their community. Therefore, we would like to honor any senior who completes 120 hours of time during their senior year from June 1, 2024, through April 9, 2025, with a special Senior Service Honor Cord to be worn at graduation. All hours need to be completed, posted and verified on x2Vol by April 9, 2025. A list of honor cord recipients will be posted by April 20, 2025. 

Last school year, 217 UAHS students completed over 25,000 hours of community service helping many different organizations and causes.

UAHS gives the President’s Volunteer Service awards in TWO categories with the following requirements:

The class of 2027 and 2028 (sophomores and freshmen)  are eligible for the TEEN President's Volunteer Service Award:

• Bronze Award - 50+ hours
• Silver Award - 75+ hours
• Gold Award - 100+ hours

The class of 2025 and 2026 (seniors and juniors) are eligible for the YOUNG ADULT President's Volunteer Service Award:

• Bronze Award - 100+ hours
• Silver Award - 175 hours
• Gold Award - 250+ hours

All hours must be completed between March 2, 2024 and March 1, 2025. All hours must be completed, posted and verified by March 1, 2025. This national award will be presented to qualifying students in May of 2025.

The Community Service Seal is given to any UAHS student who completes 60 hours of community service during their time as an Upper Arlington student. This seal will be applied to their final transcript and represents this accomplishment. All hours need to be submitted on x2Vol and hours need to be completed during the following time frames: 

• Class of 2025: June 1, 2021 - April 1, 2025
• Class of 2026: June 1, 2022 - April 1, 2026
• Class of 2027: June 1, 2023 - April 1, 2027
• Class of 2028: June 1, 2024 - April 1, 2028

If you are a senior, your hours need to be submitted and verified by April 10, 2025. Seniors who will be receiving the Community Service Seal will be notified after April 20, 2025.
